compiz - Jun 2008 - Enhanced Zoom cursor in 0.7.6

Does Compiz-0.7.6 solve the problem with the 'waiting' cursor being
invisible when using the Enhanced Zoom plugin? I see mention of
'various bugfixes' but I couldn't find the appropriate bug to check
it's status. Thanks.

No, this is not fixed in Compiz Fusion 0.7.6.

The bug is caused by XFixes, not something eZoom does (that is; eZoom
uses XFixes. XFixes bugs up.).

While http://bugs.opencompositing.org/show_bug.cgi?id=409 is the
eZoom-filed bug, it's closed because, well it's not a Compiz Fusion
issue...

Though it would be nice with an XFixes fix ....
