Enhances, require() and quality control
Hello! I am working on a package where Enhances field seems to be a plausible option. When I add package, say coda, to this field, I get the following warning with recent R-devel: ---- * checking for working latex ... OK * using log directory '/home/ggorjan/programs/R/devel/test.Rcheck' * using R version 2.5.0 Under development (unstable) (2006-12-06 r40129) * checking for file

But two patches were updated, because there are a lot of comments (patch for CHECK-WORD and patch for templates pattern). Will it be ok? IMO it's fine to keep some of the original

TableGen enhancements
...ut to reduce future duplications, as with Automaton.td and SearchableTable.td. Perhaps there are common portions of TableGen backends that can be factored out to reduce future efforts, resulting in some general-purpose library methods. Perhaps there are new features in TableGen that, coupled with enhanced or new C++ files, would open up possibilities for using TableGen in new areas of the target-independent code generator. I don't know how much people have thought about this, but I'm interested in any ideas you may have.

RFC: FileCheck Enhancements
I wanted to start making some change. But I thought and I don't understand why it's necessary to add @. // RUN: FileCheck %s // CHECK-DEFINE-PATERN: register(n): n // CHECK: %register("1") // CHECK-SAME: %register("2") // CHECK: %register("1") // CHECK-SAME: %register("2") This example will be equivalent to // RUN:

RFC: FileCheck Enhancements
Hi all, Some discussions and comments were made in reviews. Much time has already passed since last comment and uploading changed patches. I made small summary report about features here, because there are some doubts about syntax of some features and changes in patches and it'll be great to know more opinions. 1. FileCheck Enhancement - CHECK-WORD (https://reviews.llvm.org/D22353) I replace

RFC: FileCheck Enhancements
Yes, I now understand what you suggested. > CHECK-DEFINE-PATTERN: car(make, model, year): Found a make model year But I think that in pattern I should show that I use parameter. I thought that patterns can also be simple strings. All strings should be regexs in pattern and parameters can't be used in pattern in your example. But I want to use parameters in regexs. For

voicemail enhancements
Brad's recent list of enhancements look good, but I haven't looked at the code yet. If the code looks good, I hope it will be committed to the project CVS. Here's a partial list of enhancements that I would like to see in Comedian Mail. I am probably interested in helping to fund the enhancement of Asterisk voicemail. Is anyone else interested? -Address message to multiple

Oracle adapter problem? How to fix this?
Hi, My setup is: Ruby 1.8.6 Rails 2.3.5 activerecord-oracle-adapter (1.0.0.9250) I upgraded Rails and the adapter recently and I just went through hell trying to find a problem while inserting a record in a table. Rails was giving me this error: OCIError (ORA-02289: sequence does not exist): stmt.c:539:in oci8lib.so c:/ruby/lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.8/oci8.rb:753:in `exec

enhanced multidimensional scaling?
Dear R list Would anyone be able to tell me whether it is possible to do "enhanced multidimensional scaling" (enhanced MDS) in R? In other words, something that goes beyond "cmdscale" by iteratively improving the fit between observed dissimilarities and inter-object distances, using the KYST algorithm (Kruskal, 1964). I have found several implementations of no...
