CentOS - Apr 2007 - CentOS 5 x86: Hibernate

OS: CentOS 5 x86.


Has anyone tried hibernation under CentOS 5 x86 on a *non-virtual* 
machine? I tried it on my PIII and it had some kind of 
hibernation/resume failure. The screen went standby during hibernation 
and resume, and I hardware reseted the system.
