CentOS - Sep 2006 - centos 4.2 and intel gigabit ethernet port

Hi list,

Im having a problem with intel 82573L Gigabit Ethernet Controller. Centos
4.2 can't detect this internal ethernet port my motherboard is an Intel
Desktop Board D945PSN.

when i type lspci the ethernet is identified but when i type dmesg i can't
see the ethernet port.

Are you running the latest kernel?  If not upgrade to CentOS 4.4, or  
at least upgrade to latest kernel from CentOS 4.4 updates  
(2.6.9-42.0.2).
