I'd like to add a page for the Realtek r1000 NIC driver for the RTL8110SC (and others) chipset. This driver is not included in the kernel. I've previously posted to the general mail list: http://lists.centos.org/pipermail/centos/2007-February/075383.html I'm guessing this would go in the HardwareList section. Otherwise a page titled 'Realtek r1000 Driver' would work. my wiki username is kirkbocek. Thanks, Kirk Bocek Chipsets listed by Realtek: RTL8110SC(L) RTL8110S-32 RTL8110SB(L) RTL8169SB(L) RTL8169SC(L) RTL8169

Ralph, I never received your private post. It's possible my email server may have blocked your message. Should be fixed now. Ralph, your message came in this time:> Give me time until tomorrow (European time) and I'll open up the page > for you. Is that for CentOS 3 or for (presumably) CentOS 4? > > Cheers, > > RalphThe r1000 isn't specific to any version of CentOS but instead is for the 2.6 kernel. So it will be for CentOS 4 or 5: I used it with the stock 2.6.9 kernel as well as a custom 2.6.19 kernel. It's been so long since CentOS 3 I can't remember if that was the 2.6 kernel or 2.4. If you *have* to pick a version, I'd say open the page under CentOS 4 since that's what I've used the driver with.
