[asterisk-users] ZT_CHANCONFIG failed on channel 1: No such device or address
I have had a TDM400 with 2 FXO and 2 FXS working for ages (>12 months). It
has stopped working. All four green lights are still lit. I have rebuilt zaptel
and asterisk and restarted but the problem persists.
/sbin/ztcfg -vvvv

Does all that meant that Linux can't see the card? Any suggestions greatly

I had the same problem with a sangoma card. Try to unplug channel 1 and then restart zaptel and see if the problem persist. If so unplug 2 and so on. My problem was that I had a FXO pluged into FXS port. Maybe someone switched some cables and did not tell you ?
