Hi all, Can any broadvoice customers give me their opinions on the service recently? It's actually been pretty quiet on the list lately regarding them, so it seems to me that they're either getting things straightened out or everyone has dropped the service. Thank you in advance Sean
I haven't been having any problems. Since it's for home use (and my daughters aren't teenagers yet :-) ), I don't have a lot of traffic, but I've had good success. - Dan Sean Kennedy wrote:> Hi all, > > Can any broadvoice customers give me their opinions on the service > recently? I got a $15 credit for the outage today on my account for this month because they still arent 100%. They're still on thin ice with me, as the voice quality is now noticably worse, but I'm waiting it out to see if they can get that fixed as well. -- No virus found in this outgoing message. > Can any broadvoice customers give me their opinions on the service > recently? In short: it sucks, at least for me. I not one who's quickly complaining about them, but the audio quality for US calls has been not acceptable since the fiasco a few weeks ago. The audio is very choppy on the PSTN side, regardless of proxy or number dialed (incoming and outgoing calls). International calls sound clear as they did before, no complains here. So call completion works fine, the phone rings but it doesn't mean you can actually hear something :-(. Yes, I'm parting from them step by step, with all accounts. If I could only find a reliable DID provider that offers numbers in my area... oh well. --Luki
