Has anyone had any luck with the DEV LITE KIT? I'm getting very erradic behavior. I'll start it up and it will answer maybe one or two calls then hang leaving my phone in an off hook state or giving a loud shrill tone. It keeps saying "Red Alarm". Once it hangs it will not answer the phone again until I reboot. Starting and stopping Asterisk or reloading the drivers does not help. I thought maybe it was an IRQ conflict so I removed every card in my system except the X100P and it still hangs. I've swapped the order of the devices and tried different slots. I'm baffled. All I want is a simple 1x1 PBX to keep telemarketers from ringing my phone. If I can't get this working I'm having my phone disconected. lol Thanks, -s

You know, if you purchased the kit from Digium it includes support direct from them. Especially if you're "desparate" for help. -----Original Message----- From: asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com [mailto:asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com] On Behalf Of steve Sent: Wednesday, August 25, 2004 12:03 AM To: asterisk-users@lists.digium.com Subject: [Asterisk-Users] desparate for help DEV LITE KIT Has anyone had any luck with the DEV LITE KIT? When you say that you have a DEV LITE KIT 1x1, I assume that you are talking about the TDM400P card with 1 FXS and 1 FXO module. If so, I have one of these and have had similiar problems also. Digium support indicated to me that they have had problems with their FXS modules and are currently revising them. I am in the process of sending the one I have back, however there are a few more things you may try before doing so. #1 - Place the FXO moudle in port 4 and try in the FXS module in ports 2 and 3. (My problems greatly improved in port 2, however they did not go away completely...) #2 - Try appending lowpower=1 as an argument when you insert the wcfxs module. Before sending the module back, you must get an RMA number from support.
