R help - Jan 2006 - textplot from gplots package

Hi!!
   
  I've had some problems with the new version of textplot, included in the 
  gplots package. (some kind of postscript problem)
   
  I wonder if any of you have used this function or if there is any other R
  funcion to show the text in a R object as an image.
