I am having a very bad week. We had a lightening storm yesterday and I didn't turn off my computer in time. Now something is messed up with my R installation. Whenever I try to compile a package, using rcmd build --binary --use-zip [package name] I get the following error message: Rterm.exe Application Error The instruction at "0x00425859" references memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be read. I have re-installed R twice today, but I continue to get this error message. Does anyone have any ideas about what could be going on. I am using rw1051 on an NT setup. Thanks for any help, Niels Waller -.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- r-help mailing list -- Read http://www.ci.tuwien.ac.at/~hornik/R/R-FAQ.html Send "info", "help", or "[un]subscribe" (in the "body", not the subject !)
