Hello, i have some problems to run tcltk/R on with Win2000. With Win98 i have no problems !? When i do this in R, i get no message-error & tcl/tk is really here ! Sys.putenv("TCL_LIBRARY"="C:/tcl/lib/tcl83") ,but after i use : library(tcltk) ,i get : Error in dyn.load(x, as.logical(local), as.logical(now)) : unable to load shared library "D:/XY/rw1030/library/tcltk/libs/tcl83": LoadLibrary failure: Das angegebene Modul wurde nicht gefunden. Error in library(tcltk) : .First.lib failed Tcl/Tk was correct installed, i used ActiveState TCL/TK, too. Is it possible i have copy some files to /winnt/system32 folder ? thanks for advance & reagards, christian _______________________________________________________________________ -.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- r-help mailing list -- Read http://www.ci.tuwien.ac.at/~hornik/R/R-FAQ.html Send "info", "help", or "[un]subscribe" (in the "body", not the subject !) I think you will need to log in as a user with write rights to the system directories and re- install your TCL/TK support libraries. Don't overwrite any newer files as many of the system .DLLs are win2000 specific. I hope that helps, Mark -- Mark Myatt -.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- r-help mailing list -- Read http://www.ci.tuwien.ac.at/~hornik/R/R-FAQ.html Send "info", "help", or "[un]subscribe" (in the "body", not the subject !)
