R help - Jul 1999 - R hangs when hist() gets vector with a single value

Hi, I'm not sure if this is a bug or due to my ignorance of R syntax. 
I'm using
hist() to plot a sample set of data, some sets contain the same  value (i.e.
3000, 3000, 3000, 3000).  I find that hist() hangs when It gets to sets with a
single value.  ....help ?                ...victor

Version? There was a bug of the sort some time ago, but recent
versions seem to have no trouble doing e.g. hist(rep(10,10))
