Rails - Apr 2006 - Application Server in Rails Framework

Hi,

Is there any application server in Rails framework like the one in Zope? If
no, does having an application server in a framework for web applications
pose considerable advantages in terms of performance, scalability,
flexibility etc over a framework that does not provide an app server
