Dear Friends,
Iam new to virtualization field. As of now I have installed OpenVz and QEMU
successfully. Iam trying to install para-virtualized xen but unable to install
guest OS successfully.
I dont have VT/Pacifica enabled processor. OS is Fedora8 and I installed xen
packed with Fedora8. Dom-0 is running. I tried to install guest OS in domU
through virt-manager but many times the internet connection fails.
In fully-virtualized xen, one can install through installation media like DVD.
Is there a way, I can install para-virtualized xen using installation media like
DVD?
With regards,
Benedict

You can create an installation server easily with DVD iso image though. Something like - mkdir /var/www/html/mnt - mount -o loop /path/to/your/dvd.iso /var/www/html/mnt - service httpd start then use your dom0 as HTTP install server, with "/mnt" as install server path.
