There are references to the 2.6.18 in buildconfigs/mk.linux-2.6-xen and
unmodified_drivers/linux-2.6/mkbuildtree
buildconfigs/mk.linux-2.6-xen
is what I have been changing, but I download the 2.6.27 kernel first via:
hg clone linux-2.6.27-xen.hg
then unpack the xen source and prep the kernel via:
prep-kernels
I just stated looking at the source, so there may be a much simpler/better way
to do this.
fyi, the "echo" command you changed is just a reference to what is
displayed in the shell when a kernel match is not found.

Subject: [Xen-users] for building xen 2.6.27
Hi,
For build my dom0, I have do:
hg http://xenbits.xensource.com/ext/linux-2.6.27-xen.hg
make menuconfig
make
make modules_install
and cp le vmlinuz in /boot.
But for compile a DomU, O find this command :
make KERNELS="linux-2.6-xenU" in the xen
folder.
But I want a kernel 2.6.27. So I edite in
buildconfigs/select-repository
# echo
http://xenbits.xensource.com/linux-2.6.18-xen.hg
echo http://xenbits.xensource.com/ext/linux-2.6.27-xen.hg
what is the other config and build for download this
kernel ?
