Hi there,
basically it depends on the services running on the VMs and their
performance requirements.
The more performance is required the more read & write performance
should be provided by
the SAN. One option is using single LUNs for every VM. Those LUNs should
be created on different
discs.
Some SANs allow intermix of SATA, SAS and FC discs. You can raise the
disc performance with
SAS and FC discs.
