Subject: Solaris 10 HVM frozen after save/restore
To: xen-users@lists.xensource.com
Hello
Xen 3.3.1 intel VT, centos 64bit dom0. with a HVM Solaris 10, although
solaris 10 has now PV device drivers
[root@monaghan test-domains]# xm save Solaris10 Solaris10
[root@monaghan test-domains]# xm restore Solaris10
[root@monaghan test-domains]# xm console Solaris10
bash-3.00#
bash-3.00#
bash-3.00#
bash-3.00#
bash-3.00#
bash-3.00# ps -ef
and doesnt get any further. It feels like its disk has
disappeared(speculation) , dtlogin via vnc gets frozen also.
Xen Config
kernel = "/usr/lib/xen/boot/hvmloader"
builder = "hvm"
vcpus = 2
memory = 512
name = "Solaris10"
vif = [ ''bridge=eth0'' ]
disk = [ ''phy:/dev/xen2/solaris10,hda,w'' ,
''tap:aio:/mnt/dmarkey/sol-10-u6-ga1-x86-dvd.iso,hdc:cdrom,r'' ]
boot = "cd"
vnclisten = "<snip>"
vnc=1
serial="pty"
vncviewer=1
usbdevice="tablet"
sdl=0
acpi=1
apic=1

Anyone any ideas about this one?
Thanks.
