[Xen-users] xm destroy does not delete all references
Hi all,
I was jumpstarting a VM but somehow I had to quit installation. I did an xm
destroy {name} to restart all over. Unfortunately when I tried to re-install
using virt-install, I got a response :
Disk /dev/mapper/rootvg-secure_build is already in use by another guest!
How can I get rid of all references to this unwanted domU.
tnx
konrad

You should be able to us something like: lsof | grep <your vg name> then kill the PID that owns that file. There was some discussion awhile back on this topic: http://xen.markmail.org/search/?q=lsof Cheers, Todd _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
