[Xen-users] Xen included in vanilla kernel tree?

Im just wondering, what is the deal with the included xen code since 2.6.23(or
2.6.24?).
Can this be used as dom0 or isnt the hypervisor added?

Theoretically you can. I didn''t see problems yet, but some people 
advised in the past to be careful.

This is still only for i386.  You can check the wiki page for progress
on the pvops implementation in main line at

in dom0 or x86_64.

Are they capable of killing dom0?

I''ve thrown myself into testing this in 2.6.24.5.

My dom0 is a debian etch install with xen 3.2.1 built from source. (with
2.6.18.8 kernel)
After make menuconfig (and enabling the paravirt ops) and make in kerneldir i
change the kernel variable in a domU:

After a xm create -c i get no console but i get that the vm is running. (though
i get no connection through network either)

on the pvops implementation in main line at
http://wiki.xensource.com/xenwiki/XenParavirtOps if you are interested
in dom0 or x86_64.
