[Xen-users] Cannot start xend : Device eth0 does not exist - Xen 3.2.0 on FC8
Hi all, I compiled Xen 3.2.0 on a Fedora Core 8 distro running on a DELL OptiPlex 755 machine. When I boot into the Xen kernel and try to start xend it complaints that device eth0 does not exist. I read a previous thread on this probelm but for Xen 3.1 on a FC5 system saying that to correct it I should add alias eth0 xennet to /etc/modprobe.conf . However I don''t have a module called xennet. Also when I checked the /etc/modprobe.conf the first line says alias eth0 e1000e. Does anyone have any idea what configuration I need to make to get eth0 up and running? Thanks in advance !!! By default it uses eth0, but you can change it.> Thanks in advance !!! > Argyro > > _______________________________________________ > Xen-users mailing list > Xen-users@lists.xensource.com > http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users >_______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
