I''ve just put up a binary release of the latest GPL PV drivers for Windows. You can find them at http://www.meadowcourt.org/WindowsXenPV-0.6.0.zip Changes since the last version: . stability fixes . XenShutdownMon now works properly (thanks Nico) . network drivers (thanks to Andy Grover) work, and are very fast. I haven''t yet had a look at the problems being reported under Intel architectures, as I don''t have access to such a system... Some documentation is included in the zip file. It doesn''t appear to work properly. I think that windows might be running in the same mode it does when it does a crash dump, which definitely doesn''t work. I don''t have an HVM install so I can''t offer anything here to do it. Hopefully someone on the list will take a few minutes and let all of us know. Keep up the good work guys! You can find them at > http://www.meadowcourt.org/WindowsXenPV-0.6.0.zip >Thanks for your effort in writing the PV drivers. I have tested them under WinXP 32bit, running under Xen 3.0.3/Intel Xeon. Unfortunately the installation of the vbd driver results in a BSOD, while the rest of the drivers seems to work fine. Question: is there a way to install only the xenbus PCI driver and avoiding installing the rest of the drivers (and avoiding the "found new hardware popup" at every reboot)? This is because I would like to use only the shutdown/reboot service, for the moment. I just disabled them by right-clicking on the devices with the question mark and selecting "disable". -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/Binary-release-of-GPL-Win-PN-drivers-tp15015167p15020400.html Sent from the Xen - Dev mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-devel
