Hi guys :), I''ve got strange Filesystem Errors on all running VM''s. Im using the 2.6.18-4-xen-amd64 debian Package for my Hostsytem, its using the xen-3.0.3-1 hypervisor. My data-storage is based on LVM2 and a Software-Raid1 via MDADM If i check the Root Filesystem via fsck.ext3 in a VM ( mounted system ) _or_ on the Hostsystem thru the LVM Device i got this Errors: --------- # fsck.ext3 -n -f -v <DISK> Pass 5: Checking group summary information Block bitmap differences: -1524512 -1527940 -1529864 -1529884 -(1529886--1529887) -1529891 -1529957 -1532281 -1532318 -1532334 -1533045 +1558538 +1558540 +1560412 +1560475 +1560481 +1560627 +1560638 +(1560682--1560684) +1560687 +1560689 Fix? no Free blocks count wrong for group #46 (17, counted=5). Fix? no Free blocks count wrong for group #47 (0, counted=12). Fix? no Free blocks count wrong (1303087, counted=1302999). Fix? no Inode bitmap differences: +755001 -755672 Fix? no Free inodes count wrong (2532225, counted=2532218). Fix? no .... and more --------- Some vServer users are reporting randomly losing Files on the Systems. BUT if i shutdown the Server and the VM is Destroy''ed -> The Filesystem ( checked with the LVM Device on the Hostsystem ) is completely CLEAN! Any Ideas?
