Hi Everybody, I''ve been trying to build (from the source RPM on the Xen site) an x86_64 RPM on Centos 5, as there''s not one available from the Xen site. I''ve been using 3.1.0 from the tar ball, but I''d prefer to have a RPM of it for a variety of reasons. Upon using rpmbuild to try and build the binary, it tells me the architecture (x86_64) isn''t included. I changed the spec file to see if it''d build anyway; it doesn''t. I''m having a few problems figuring out why. I haven''t seen any obvious errors, and the last few lines of output are: install -m0644 -p include/public/COPYING /usr/src/redhat/BUILD/xen-testing-aee991c7723a.e16de9635bec/dist/install/usr/include/xen make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/xen-testing-aee991c7723a.e16de9635bec/xen'' make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/xen-testing-aee991c7723a.e16de9635bec/xen'' error: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.88287 (%build) RPM build errors: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.88287 (%build) I can''t see any errors above these lines either. So, does anyone have any ideas as to what might be causing it to fail? Has anyone had success in building a x86_64 rpm, either on CentOS/RHEL5 or another distro? Thanks in advance for any advice, Martin _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
