Hi friends,
Actually I had set MAC of guest OS in the manner given at -
http://wiki.xensource.com/xenwiki/XenNetworking
But problem was that - I was running SUSE 10.2. It has interface config files in
/etc/sysconfig/network/scripts/ I was trying hard to find this.
Culprit was the file named " ifcfg-id06-xyz "
Actually I set the MAC as 0A-xyz in config file (which present in host) of that
guest OS. So there should have been file names ifcfg-0A-xyz in above mentioned
path. I done that & restarted the machine. & now I got my xen networking
really working fine.
Little config file issues can cost you lot of trouble..

exceptions are most common things to happen.....

But it didn''t helped much.
What should be MAC address for vif in Domain-0 & for eth0/1 in guest domain.
Should it be same ? if yes then how to set it.
Same question about IP address, should I set it through config file by giving
vif = [ ''ip= -.-.-.- '' ] ?
Or there can be problem with firewall or IP forwarding though I havnt changed
the default settings.
(asking too many questions, but newbie to Xen so please bear me.)
Thanks,
-Rahul
