[Xen-devel] [Xen-users] multiple mounting of partitions can cause trouble?
no response on xen-users, i assume it can be a new problem. if it will be confermed, and that is a good thing to fix, than i will post a bug. --- hi. again, after a long time :) background: xen 3.0.4 clvm 2.02.22 one local vg NOT marked as clustered one remote vg marked as clustered. i have one partition passed to all my domU. that contain kernel sources and modules. for the first 18 machine no problem, at 19: -- Error: Device 2065 (vbd) could not be connected. Backend device not found. -- and exit. now, i have seen nothing at all about this error in xend.log. but, if i insist with xm create (sometimes twice is sufficient, other times i need to do it 20 times), at a point the machine will start. clvmd is started with -d option, and it is in foreground. i can''t see anything at all about that (that is right, the volume is in local vg, that is not clustered), so i may exclude clvm as the cause of my trouble. any hint (apart from "do not do that")? thanks d. _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-devel
