Hi list, I run several linux-hosts under Xen, but on my computer at home I''d like to get Windows running too as I need it once in a while.. I have an AMD X2 CPU and plenty of RAM running on an ABIT kn9 SLI motherboard. I can''t seem to find any info about support for AMD-V on this motherboard, so I guess I need a new one... Any suggestions as to what to buy? Thanx Sturla _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

You should get two lines starting with flags: and a whole heap of different CPU features. The AMD processors have no way to switch of AMD-V, so there''s nothing the motherboard can do to "destroy" the capability of running HVM guests. -- Mats> > Thanx > > Sturla > > > > _______________________________________________ > Xen-users mailing list > Xen-users@lists.xensource.com > http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users > > >_______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
Ok, that''s great, I read several places that you needed a motherboard with support for the virtualization enhancements, I guess that''s just Intel then...
