Hello, I have a problem with my xen server. I have debian sarge with xen installed from backports.org. In my server I have kernel linux-image-2.6.16-2-xen-686 version 2.6.16-14bpo1. Now I am installing another server with the same configuration. The only difference is that now the package linux-image-2.6.16-2-xen-686 has version 2.6.16-18~bpo.1 in the backports repository. The problem I have is that with last version, system crashes while booting dom0. The error message in the log is: Xen version 3.0.2-3 (Debian 3.0.2+hg9697-0bpo1) (ultrotter@debian.org) (gcc ve6(XEN) Command line: /xen-3.0-i386.gz dom0_mem=131072 com1=115200,8n1 noirqbalae(XEN) Physical RAM map: (XEN) 0000000000000000 - 00000000000a0000 (usable) (XEN) 0000000000100000 - 00000000bffd7000 (usable) (XEN) 00000000bffd7000 - 00000000bffefc00 (ACPI data) (XEN) 00000000bffefc00 - 00000000bffff000 (reserved) (XEN) 00000000fec00000 - 00000000fec10000 (reserved) (XEN) 00000000fee00000 - 00000000fee10000 (reserved) (XEN) 00000000fff80000 - 0000000100000000 (reserved) (XEN) System RAM: 3071MB (3145180kB) (XEN) Xen heap: 10MB (10504kB) (XEN) Using scheduler: Simple EDF Scheduler (sedf) (XEN) PAE disabled. Do you where is the problem or how to solve? (I know that I could just installed the old version of the package). Thanks. -- Angel L.
