Hi, I couldn''t find an answer to this in the docs - how does Xen handle caching of block devices? Will all the domU''s cache their own access to the devices exported by dom0, or will dom0 be responsible for that? In other words, if I have a machine with 6GB that runs, lets say, 4 domU''s which need 1GB each - should I give the remaining memory to dom0 or distribute it between the domU''s? Also, what about the memory that is currently not allocated to any dom, is that available for any sort of caching/buffering or is it just wasted? Do I get put into prison if I tell somebody from your post? Do I have to wipe any harddisk where this message resides? Thanks in advance for explaining! They decided it was absolutely essential to attach that nonsense to every email, I don''t have control over it. This message will, of course, self-destruct within 7 seconds of you reading it. At least that is my best understanding of the situation... -Tim _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
