[Xen-users] Pacifica / van der Pool with xen aware OS/kernel
All, I''m currently thinking of buiding a xen firewall and extra functions in it. I''m wordering is It will be an advantage/disadvantage or no differance when i run DomU on a (non) Pacifica/van der Pool aware CPU. Regards, Joop Boonen. Mainly I can think of performance (I''ve heard people reporting bad performanve in hvm due to the disk IO emulation and the lack of (live) migration (not sure if save/resatore also don''tr work right now) functionality. I don''t know if any of those is especially important in your case.
