Xen users - Jul 2006 - migration between x86 and x86_64 hypervisors?

Maybe this is a dumb question:  since you can have a 32 bit guest on a
64 bit hypervisor does it follow that if I have a 32 bit guest on a 32
bit hypervisor, I can live migrate it over to a 64 bit host?  (I don''t
have hardware to test this, but thinking of buying an opteron)

Today, you can only use fully virtualized guests in "mixed bitness",
and
full-virtualization guests can not migrate at this time... So the answer
is no. 

Of course, both the para-virtualized "different bitness" and the
"migration of fully-virtualized guest" are being worked on, but
I''m not
in a position to say when either one will be available...
