[Xen-users] I read "Only one graphic desktop", but where?
I read that Xen should be thin and only installed was necessary. I read that only one GUI can be. Now I wonder how I install that. Should I install the GUI on Dom0 or on my "main" DomU ??? So far I have installed: Ubuntu server on Dom0 debootstrap Ubuntu on DomU1 (not working yet) bye Ronald _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

As it sounds, you intend to do desktop stuff. I run Xen on some Dektops with X on dom0 without a problem. You can access your graphics hardware only once - either in dom0 or in one domU. But you can run a vncserver on any domu and access X11 with it from dom0(or whatever domain you choose to configure the one possible graphics hardware access.> [...] > debootstrap Ubuntu on DomU1 (not working yet)Hmm, maybe you should, before going to further topics, see how you setup a simple domu correctly, before going further to vnc and pci passthrough topics.
