Folks, Is the only way to reply to a posting and maintain the mail thread by subscribing to the mailing list and then replying to the received email or is there another way from within the list archive itself? I don''t see a reply option to the emails in the thread. Sorry if I am missing something obvious. Thanks, ST -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... you might want to use www.ruby-forum.com which acts as a forum interface to the mailing list that isn''t read only but gives you the opportunity to reply... i believe you can reply to messages in the forum (might have to be logged in?) there''s a "reply with quote" link at the bottom right of the post. i handle all of mine however through gmail though with a filter to tag and archive posts sent to ''rails@lists.rubyonrails.org'' and in answer to rosoft2001''s search question below, you can google the forum specifically like "google site:www.ruby-forum.com foo bar" On 7/31/06, Sanjay Tibrewal <stibrewal@gmail.com> wrote:> > Folks, > > Is the only way to reply to a posting and maintain the mail thread by > subscribing to the mailing list and then replying to the received email or > is there another way from within the list archive itself?
