zfs discuss - Dec 2008 - disk resizing with zfs

Hello there,
I just wonder how to make zfs aware of a lun resizing, with no downtime
(Veritas "vxdisk resize" or MS "diskpart" can do this).
I''m quite sure that there were some threads on this but I
can''t find
them.
I do know that resizing a lun is not the common way to expand a pool
(since a simple zpool add vdev is possible).

It should just pick it up automatically.  There were some bugs that required
a reboot, or a zpool export/import, but that''s been fixed in the latest
versions of opensolaris.
