Pkg xen devel - Apr 2008 - Xen and USB device access from guest

I'm trying to get access to an USB device from a Linux Xen guest running 
on Debian (tried with Etch, Lenny, and Bastian's kernels), without any 
success so far.
All report I can find on the web state that it is not working on Xen 
yet, but are talking about Xen 3.0 or earlier.

Performance is not an issue, as this is just for a hardware dongle for a 
proprietary software which only checks dongle's availability at startup.

Does somebody here now about this matter?

There is no PV USB support for Xen 3. If you want to have USB access
from a guest domain then you need to use pci pass through to pass a
complete USB controller through to the guest.
