Ah, 'net view' depends on SMBv1 and that is going away. I think we need
to see your smb.conf, so we can advise you on what should be in it when
you upgrade to Debian 11 from stretch.
Or to put it another way, I think you need to find another way of doing
what 'net view' is doing now.
