R on Android
Hello
I tried to install R on my Transformer Prime without root. I downloaded the
three files i found on:
http://rwiki.sciviews.org/doku.php?id=getting-started:installation:android
and i extract all the files, also without root my prime.
But now i can't install R with the files i extractet.
Is it possible to install R on my Prime without root and how can i do it?
Or is root a must, for

I have a couple of questions for a guest only, stand alone server:
1. Windows Explorer can copy a file to Samba, while curl fails:

Are those the wrong settings to force new files to be saved with a given
user and the given access rights? A new file is still root:root and 655

The sad state of samba 4 adaption for home/small business routers.
...ntime 99% of the normal home/sbu are not and hence
projects like openwrt/dd-wrt/tomato/buildroot try to bring some of your hand
crafted "magic" to the masses.
Also keep in mind that samba3.6 was successfully adopted on any device that
had a usb2.0 port in the past. So slapping a usbstick/sdcard/hdd on a cheap
router is already a common scenario.

Samba mount error after server packages update
...succesfully mount samba shares from the android "terminal emulator", with the following command, for example:

su root busybox mount -v -t cifs \
-o username=andy,password=pass,nounix,nosuid,nodev,noexec,noatime,gid=10028,uid=10023,rw \
//192.168.213.133/android_share /sdcard/android_share

So far so good.
Now I have just upgraded the server machine to "clear linux release 33490". Only the full system upgrade has been performed, with no other changes.
After the upgrade, the samba version has been updated from 4.10.0 to 4.12.3.
