It occurs when I run "net view \\samba" on a Windows 10 (10.0.19045)
client. It's an older Samba (4.5.16; Yes, i will

What does "NT_STATUS_PIPE_BROKEN" in log files mean ?
Hi All,
One day we upgraded client pc's OS from Windows7 to Windows10,
Windows10 clients could not access a samba server.
When we re-enabled the SMBv1 protocol on Windows10, Windows10 clients
still could not access a samba server.
After adding the following [global] settings, Windows10 clients could access
a samba server at last.

Copy with curl ? force user ignored?
Hello,
I have a couple of questions for a guest only, stand alone server:
1. Windows Explorer can copy a file to Samba, while curl fails:
==========

==========
root at debian# cat smb.conf

netbios name = debian
security = user
server role = standalone server

Too bad. That takes care of question #1.
Are those the wrong settings to force new files to be saved with a given
user and the given access rights? A new file is still root:root and 655

Windows10+samba share: The remote computer isn’t responding to connections on port 445
Hello everyone
I am having an issue with one particular windows 10 PC not being able to
map a samba share. When I map the network drive:*\\hostname\share* the
window prompt to login pops up. I enter the correct username and
password and after a minute I get this error:
*The network path was not found. 0x80070035*. Looking at the windows 10
logs, I can see this message:

Cannot save domain
I have a domain running a Windows 10 system on an Ubuntu 16.10 host
system. The domain has 4096MiB of memory. When I try to save the
domain, or managedsave the domain, I get an error when it's about 96%

virsh # save Windows10 windows10-20170402.save --bypass-cache --verbose

Samba file server 4.4.4 - trust relationship
Hello experts
I currently have a file server running on CentOS 7. The file server is
joined to the enterprise.com domain (with Samba 4.5).
The enterprise.com domain (with samba 4.5) maintains a trust relationship
with the example.com domain running on windows server 2012R2.
The problem occurs when a user of the example.com (windows server) domain
authenticates on a workstation of the

[JIT] getImageBase() leads to crash under Windows10
Hello LLVM-people,
I have a problem and I hope that you could help me. I'm jitting some .BC
files at runtime with the LLVM under Windows 7. Thanks to the function "
getImageBase()" located in RuntimeDyldCOFFX86_64.h I'm able to support
exceptions. But when moving the program to Windows 10, the exceptions will
crash the program. I read that the __ImageBase is important for

Callback through extensions.conf?
Hello
I'd like to configure Asterisk so that...
1. I ring it from my cellphone with CID number displayed, just to
notify Asterisk that I wish to make a call
2. Asterisk waits until I hang up, calls me back, and prompts me for
the number I wish to call
3. Asterisk puts me on hold through Flash(), which is apparently the
equivalent of hitting the R key on European handsets
4. Asterisk calls the

Asterisk to switch on electric heaters remotely?
Hello
I'm sure someone has already tried this: I use a couple of electric
heaters to heat my office.
I'd like to somehow connect them to Asterisk so that I could switch
them on remotely by either calling the IVR or sending an e-mail to the
Asterisk host, so that the room is warm when I get to the office :-)
Any information appreciated.
Thank you.
