Hi, Let me know if this is the wrong place to post this, but I am having problems with cutouts in my streams using libshout2. I am taking audio files and re-encoding them at 32Kbs and then streaming them. Problem is that every 20 secs or so, the stream cuts out for about 5-10 secs and then continues. Any ideas as to why? Should I try using shout_send_raw? Thanks in advance!! There could be any number of problems with how your app is using libvorbis. --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ icecast project homepage: http://www.icecast.org/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to 'icecast-dev-request@xiph.org' containing only the word 'unsubscribe' in the body. Thanks for the suggestions, but I have resolved the issue. It was a one of the options I was using in LAME. I turned off the MPEG padding and everything came out fine.. Check your CPU usage. These are the usual symptoms of an underpowered system that can't reencode in real time.
