NFS issue with ZFS
I have Solaris 10 U7 that is exporting ZFS filesytem.
The client is Solaris 9 U7.
I can mount the filesytem just fine but I am unable to write to it.
showmount -e shows my mount is set for everyone.
the dfstab file has option rw set.
So what gives?

Novell
Hi,
I like to know if anyone has ever gotten samba to work on Sun Solaris on a
Novell Network.
I don't have an issue with installation on Sun Solaris that works fine.
But I've never put Samba
on a Novell Network Before. Please describe any steps or issue with this.

sshd can't change expired password on Sol8 with Openssh3.0p1 + PAM

we probably don't have pam_unix.so patched up. Also, the passwd command
doesn't even work if you have something besides "files", "nis" or "nis+"
in the passwd line of /etc/nsswitch.conf (which we do).

variable name containing variable name
Hello, i''m new to puppet (and ruby).
I have a problem when using a variable name containing a variable name
and containing a reserved variable name :
I have a class :
class kernel-Linux-binary {

global variable - @@var
I tried to keep track of the number of access to a specific controller.
I declared ''@@mycount = 0'' in the controller class. The methods in the
controller will increment the @@mycount (@@mycount = @@mycount + 1) and
print the value to the html page and show in the browser. The value is
always 1, no matter how many times I access the controller and its
action(s). Is this

Extensions Problem
...So, I assume we need
to implement 9, and the number. However, when I do this, the 9 gets passed on
to our SIP provider, which tries to dial 9NXXXXXXXXXX, and all goes to hell.
Question - is there a way to allow 9 in the dialing plan, without having it be
passed to the sip provider.

Phillip

Not wishing to instigate a DB war, but...
Can I get some opinions on which free DB to use with rails for a virtual
server that will eventually be doing lots of heavy database lifting?
Not a lot of heavy duty querying per se. Think multiple simultaneous
forums and blog sites and the like.
I know each of the different DB possibilities such as MySQL and
PostgreSQL has plus points and minus points. I''m particularly

Thank you,

modified test of phillips-perron
Hello!
I would like to know whether the test of Phillips-Perron, modified for time series with large negative moving average terms implemented in R.
Besides I would also like to ask the same question about the Leybourne-McCabe test for stationarity.
