samba - Oct 2019 - Mac Clients Disconnect with: source3/smbd/service.c:1050(close_cnum) closed connection to service data

Hi Rowland,

Thanks for the advice. I've tried your suggestions, but the problem
persists. It's strange that it only happens with Macs. I know this is a
Samba list, but have encountered anything like this pertaining to Macs in
the past?

Your problem is that your MAC machines seem to be closing the connection 
and you have 'log level? = 2' in smb.conf. You can probably stop the log
messages by setting 'log level = 0' instead. This will not stop your 
MACs closing the connection though, you need to look to them to find out 
why they are doing this.

Rowland
