[Samba] Recommended stations on a server and slave domain controller
Hello Marc, Sorry for the confusion, AD is the current solution installed and used. The goal we want to achieve is to install a configuration for a lot of users (about 100 000) with one master domain. So we thought that it may be possible to have a principal domain and several slave domains. If this configuration can't be considered, we want to know if it's a feature that we could contribute. And sorry again for not being clear enough at first, I appreciate your help. Thank you. AD has sub-domains and trusts. Both Samba currently doesn't support. However you can have multiple DCs, e. g. on each site in one domain, of course. Regards, Marc

Hello Marc, Thank you for your answer. About multiple DCs in one domain, Do you have any documentation or a link that could explain us how to make this type of architecture ? As I told you, the final aim is to have more than 100 000 users in one domain, is this a mistake to use a single master DC ? If we can't do this, is there a special feature to develop to make this infrastructure work? LINAGORA can support this development (a part or the totality of it, with the agreement of the community) if necessary.
