CentOS - Dec 2016 - CentOS 7 Update from DVD

I am trying to find how to update CentOS 7 using the DVD.

In the past, C6, just insert the DVD, select "install or update" from
the
boot menu, continue, and later select update and continue... done... reboot.

I dont see that on the C7 boot disk.

How is that accomplished?

I believe you can, at a shell prompt as root, do the following...

     yum --disablerepo=\* --enablerepo=c7-media update


this assumes the c7 DVD is mounted as any one of the following...

         /media/CentOS/
         /media/cdrom/
         /media/cdrecorder/
