Just browsing through the script.aculo.us code, I think the answer is no.
Cancel doesn't take any parameters and the original opacity
information isn't retained beyond Effect.Fade (ie, it's not available
in the cancel method). It is being used in an afterFinishInternal
function but I don't see where that's being called.
