samba - Dec 2013 - restart and stop samba service

I have read in the samba http://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Samba_AD_DC_HOWTO that
you can start samba just typing samba at the command promt, but what are the
commands to stop and restart the service?

write an appropiate startup script for your distribution. if you're using
a debian-based distro start with /etc/init.d/skeleton

I am using opensuse 13.1 64 bit with samba 4.1.2, anybody in the list can post
an example script for opensuse?, the other thing is, these are start up script,
but what I need is just to restart, stop and start the samba service, not the
server
