Hi list, To my best knowledge samba 3 does not support level 4 drivers used by Windows 8 for Point'n'Print (If that is not the case could you let me know the minimal version of samba required?) According to http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/hardware/hh852373.aspx Windows 8 should be able to use level 3 drivers, but it does not seem to work for me. Are they any workarounds that can be applied (client or server side) to make this happen? I know there was a small patch submitted to the list quite a while ago, but i would rather not do that.
