I removed mysql 2.8 gem and reinstall mysql 2.7 with this command: *sudo gem install mysql -v 2.7 --no-rdoc --no-ri mysql -- --with-mysql-dir=/usr/local --with-mysql-config=/usr/local/mysql/bin/mysql_config* Now, when I run rake db:create, it will give me this error: !!! The bundled mysql.rb driver has been removed from Rails 2.2. Please install the mysql gem and try again: gem install mysql. rake aborted! My problem is solved. I reinstall and upgrade mysql and it is working good now.
