Ubuntu 9.10:: Error: uninitialized constant MysqlCompat::MysqlRes
Hi, I''ve seen configuration issues involving this error message when running rake under Mac OS 10, where it seems to be associated with a bad link. I''ve just got the same error, running Ubuntu 9.10. I have the following packages installed mysql Ver 14.14 Distrib 5.1.37, for debian-linux-gnu (i486) using EditLine wrapper mysql-client version 5.1.37 rails 2.3.5 gem 1.3.5 ruby 1.9.1 full error message is as follows: steve@default:~/maudit/test$ sudo gem install mysql [sudo] password for steve: Building native extensions. This could take a while...
