I live in Brazil, in most parts we dont have a high speed internet, i download lots torrents and its a pain >.< take some time, some take weeks to download >.> My idea is a webserver to download torrents and than download the files from the server when finish, so this way dont gonna have problems with firewalls blocking the ports, leaving the pc running, low upload speed and so... Of couse the service gonna be paid, unmetered network cost some money >.< Later the service can be expanded to more networks (Gnutela,..) Good idea? Not a good idea?I''m not sure this would be an effective solution. The advantage of torrents is that it distributes the download across multiple hosts. As Fred indicated, from a legal standpoint, this is a very, very dangerous idea - guaranteed to be sued by everybody.
