Rails - Jun 2008 - text field being garbled

I''ve got a pretty basic RESTful scaffold with just two fields,
title:string and body:text.

When I edit the body, save it, and go back to edit it again, the text
is pretty mangled. The first line of each paragraph is indented. Any
ideas what could be causing this? Like I said, it''s pretty much a
stock scaffold as generated by Rails 2.1.
