Rails - Jun 2008 - Recommended Permissions for Releases Directory?

I''ve got a bit of an obvious question here, but not having grown up on
Ubuntu, I''d like to hear opinions from some people who have been
around the block a bit more than I...

What is a good permission set for the /shared and /releases
directories created by Capistrano?

I think rwx is pretty obvious choice for the deploying user, but I''m
not sure what the circumstances would be that would warrant rwx for
group and other.

Suggestions appreciated.
